{"id":101246,"date":"2020-05-20T23:05:13","date_gmt":"2020-05-21T03:05:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/digital58.com.ve\/site\/?p=101246"},"modified":"2020-05-20T23:05:13","modified_gmt":"2020-05-21T03:05:13","slug":"descubren-en-hawai-el-volcan-mas-grande-y-caliente-del-planeta","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/digital58.com.ve\/site\/2020\/05\/20\/descubren-en-hawai-el-volcan-mas-grande-y-caliente-del-planeta\/","title":{"rendered":"Descubren en Haw\u00e1i el volc\u00e1n m\u00e1s grande y caliente del planeta"},"content":{"rendered":"\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/digital58.com.ve\/site\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/Puhahonu.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-101565\" src=\"https:\/\/digital58.com.ve\/site\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/Puhahonu.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1500\" height=\"844\" srcset=\"https:\/\/digital58.com.ve\/site\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/Puhahonu.jpg 800w, https:\/\/digital58.com.ve\/site\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/Puhahonu-300x169.jpg 300w, https:\/\/digital58.com.ve\/site\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/Puhahonu-768x432.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1500px) 100vw, 1500px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\r\n<p>El Puhahonu, es el volc\u00e1n m\u00e1s gran y caliente del planeta, fue confundido durante varios a\u00f1os con unas peque\u00f1as islas que se asoman encima de las olas, pero en la realidad son las cimas del volc\u00e1n de 150.000 kil\u00f3metros c\u00fabicos de roca, investigadores realizaron este descubrimiento en plena pandemia de COVID-19.<br \/><br \/><strong>Hawai Estados Unidos, 20 de mayo 2020 (ND58).-<\/strong> El hallazgo se debe a un conjunto de cient\u00edficos, ge\u00f3logos, vulcan\u00f3logos de la Universidad de Haw\u00e1i, quienes identificaron al volc\u00e1n Puhahonu, como el volc\u00e1n m\u00e1s grande y caliente del planeta, dejando en un segundo plano al vocal Mauna Loa. <br \/><br \/>El descubrimiento se debe a un estudio publicado por la revista Earth and Planetary Science Letters, donde se descubri\u00f3 que por mucho tiempo lo que se crey\u00f3 que eran dos islas peque\u00f1as, en realidad son las cimas de un volc\u00e1n masivo de 150.000 kil\u00f3metros c\u00fabicos de roca.<br \/><br \/>Mientras el que se conoc\u00eda anteriormente como el m\u00e1s grande del mundo el volc\u00e1n Mauna de 83.000 kil\u00f3metros c\u00fabicos ubicado tambi\u00e9n en Haw\u00e1i. <br \/><br \/>El estudio advirti\u00f3 que solo un tercio del volumen total del volc\u00e1n est\u00e1 expuesto, mientras el resto est\u00e1 enterrado bajo escombros como coral roto, y otros materiales.<br \/><br \/>El volc\u00e1n Puhahonu est\u00e1 completamente hecho de flujos de lava, lo que hace que su temperatura sobrepase a los otros volcanes del mundo, convirti\u00e9ndose en el volc\u00e1n m\u00e1s caliente en alcanzar los 1.700 cent\u00edgrados.<br \/><br \/>Tiene forma de c\u00fapula y lados ligeramente inclinados.<br \/><br \/>El autor principal de la investigaci\u00f3n Michael Garcia, afirmo que sus \u00abgrandes vol\u00famenes de magma\u00bb hacen que la estructura sea tan enorme.<br \/><br \/>\u00abLa temperatura que calculamos se basa en la composici\u00f3n de la roca y sus minerales eran de 1.700. Esto es excepcionalmente caliente comparado con cualquier lava conocida en los \u00faltimos 65 millones de a\u00f1os\u00bb, declaro el cient\u00edfico Garc\u00eda.<br \/><br \/>Algunos conocen el volc\u00e1n como Gardner Pinnacles sin embargo los investigadores hacen un llamado para que se respete el nombre de Puhahonu, el cual significa \u00abtortuga que se levanta para
