crisis<\/h2>\n<p>Pese a la precariedad sist\u00e9mica, el talento venezolano logr\u00f3 hitos hist\u00f3ricos de manera individual.<\/p>\n<p>Destaca la medalla de oro obtenida por Yulimar Rojas en los Juegos Ol\u00edmpicos de Tokio 2020 y el subcampeonato mundial de la selecci\u00f3n nacional de balompi\u00e9 Sub-20 en Corea del Sur.<\/p>\n<p>No obstante, estos logros se gestaron en un entorno de desconexi\u00f3n estatal.<\/p>\n<p>La casi total estatizaci\u00f3n de la actividad deportiva impuls\u00f3 a los atletas a desvincularse de los subsidios oficiales para fijar su residencia fuera del pa\u00eds.<\/p>\n<p>Rojas, por ejemplo, desarrolla su carrera en Espa\u00f1a bajo la n\u00f3mina del F\u00fatbol Club Barcelona.<\/p>\n<p>En contraste, tras los recientes sucesos pol\u00edticos, figuras como el exfutbolista Gabriel C\u00edchero manifestaron su postura en redes sociales con la frase \u00abLibertad 2026\u00bb, celebrando el cambio de rumbo en la naci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p><a infraestructura nacional<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>El aparato deportivo no fue ajeno al \u00e9xodo masivo de ocho millones de ciudadanos y a la ca\u00edda del 30 % del Producto Interno Bruto en 2020.<\/p>\n<p>La falta de mantenimiento y recursos redujo a ruinas escenarios emblem\u00e1ticos de la geograf\u00eda venezolana.<\/p>\n<p>Recintos como el estadio Br\u00edgido Iriarte, en la capital, o las piscinas ol\u00edmpicas de Guatamare, en la isla de Margarita, presentan un deterioro cr\u00edtico.<\/p>\n<p>Con un salario m\u00ednimo que apenas roza los 40 centavos de d\u00f3lar, la base del deporte aficionado y profesional qued\u00f3 pr\u00e1cticamente desmantelada.<\/p>\n<h2>Impacto en el b\u00e9isbol profesional<\/h2>\n<p>El b\u00e9isbol, disciplina de mayor arraigo en el pa\u00eds, sufri\u00f3 las consecuencias de la crisis log\u00edstica y social.<\/p>\n<p>Esta situaci\u00f3n impidi\u00f3 que Venezuela ejerciera como sede de la Serie del Caribe durante los a\u00f1os 2018 y 2019, torneos que debieron trasladarse a M\u00e9xico y Panam\u00e1.<\/p>\n<p>Solo en el a\u00f1o 2023 se logr\u00f3 el retorno de este certamen regional al territorio nacional.<\/p>\n<p>El evento sirvi\u00f3 para la inauguraci\u00f3n del Estadio Monumental Sim\u00f3n Bol\u00edvar en Caracas, una de las pocas obras de envergadura entregadas en el \u00faltimo tramo de la gesti\u00f3n de
