Terrazas del Club H\u00edpico, Caracas.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Caracas, DC, Venezuela, 23 de noviembre de 2016 (D58).-<\/strong> Las malformaciones vasculares son anomal\u00edas que ocurren en el desarrollo embriol\u00f3gico de los vasos sangu\u00edneos.\u00a0Est\u00e1n presentes desde el nacimiento y tienen un crecimiento gradual, es decir, si el paciente crece, ellas tambi\u00e9n. Sin embargo, puede acelerarse por traumatismos, cambios en la presi\u00f3n sangu\u00ednea, procesos infecciosos, desequilibrios hormonales, entre otros.<\/p>\n<p>La presentaci\u00f3n cl\u00ednica de las malformaciones vasculares es sumamente variable y va desde manchas asintom\u00e1ticas con repercusi\u00f3n meramente est\u00e9tica, hasta lesiones que podr\u00edan afectar la salud de la persona que las padece.<\/p>\n<p>Se clasifican de acuerdo al vaso de origen en capilares, venoso, arterial, linf\u00e1tico o combinado. Unas de las m\u00e1s comunes son las de origen capilar, entre las que se encuentra la llamada \u00abMancha en Vino de Oporto\u00bb.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-58396\" src=\"http:\/\/digital58.com.ve\/site\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/11\/shutterstock_121287184-Copiar.jpg\" alt=\"shutterstock_121287184-copiar\" width=\"1500\" height=\"1000\" srcset=\"https:\/\/digital58.com.ve\/site\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/11\/shutterstock_121287184-Copiar.jpg 800w, https:\/\/digital58.com.ve\/site\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/11\/shutterstock_121287184-Copiar-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/digital58.com.ve\/site\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/11\/shutterstock_121287184-Copiar-768x512.jpg 768w, https:\/\/digital58.com.ve\/site\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/11\/shutterstock_121287184-Copiar-1024x683.jpg 1024w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1500px) 100vw, 1500px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Esta lesi\u00f3n se presenta en 0,3 por ciento de la poblaci\u00f3n y puede afectar a ambos sexos por igual. Son manchas cuyo color puede variar del rojo intenso a rosado.<\/p>\n<p>Se pueden localizar en cualquier lugar de la superficie cut\u00e1nea pero el 80 por ciento de los casos se localiza en la cabeza y el cuello. Pueden observarse tambi\u00e9n en el tronco y los miembros.<\/p>\n<p>El diagn\u00f3stico es fundamentalmente cl\u00ednico, basado en la minuciosa exploraci\u00f3n f\u00edsica, s\u00f3lo algunos casos ameritaran biopsia de piel. El tratamiento depende del tipo de malformaci\u00f3n vascular.<\/p>\n<p>Sin embargo, la terapia con l\u00e1ser es sumamente efectiva para este tipo de malformaciones capilares, que tienden a ser planas y de color rojo o viol\u00e1ceo.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-58397\" src=\"http:\/\/digital58.com.ve\/site\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/11\/shutterstock_156646859-Copiar.jpg\" alt=\"shutterstock_156646859-copiar\" width=\"1500\" height=\"1321\" srcset=\"https:\/\/digital58.com.ve\/site\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/11\/shutterstock_156646859-Copiar.jpg 681w, https:\/\/digital58.com.ve\/site\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/11\/shutterstock_156646859-Copiar-300x264.jpg 300w, https:\/\/digital58.com.ve\/site\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/11\/shutterstock_156646859-Copiar-768x676.jpg 768w, https:\/\/digital58.com.ve\/site\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/11\/shutterstock_156646859-Copiar-1024x902.jpg 1024w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1500px) 100vw, 1500px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>\u00abExisten una variedad de l\u00e1seres vasculares como el Vbeam o decolorante pulsado, que es excelente para lesiones superficiales, pues act\u00faa directamente sobre la hemoglobina presente en la sangre. Al calentarla, obliterar la luz del vaso sangu\u00edneo por un efecto t\u00e9rmico, obteniendo un aclaramiento progresivo de la lesi\u00f3n\u00bb, explica Ingrid Rivera, dermat\u00f3loga de la Unidad M\u00e9dico Est\u00e9tico L\u00e1ser (UNIMEL).<\/p>\n<p>En el caso de malformaciones vasculares con mayor profundidad es necesario combinar con l\u00e1ser diodo 915nm o Nd:YAG de pulso largo. En ocasiones, tambi\u00e9n es necesario infiltrar con esteroides de dep\u00f3sito y usar cremas con imiquimod para disminuir la probabilidad de revascularizaci\u00f3n de la lesi\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>La respuesta depender\u00e1 de la extensi\u00f3n de la lesi\u00f3n y de su ubicaci\u00f3n anat\u00f3mica, la cual a su vez est\u00e1 relacionada con la localizaci\u00f3n en profundidad de los
