Si se viaja por tierra desde Chile es necesario cruzar la cordillera de los Andes y viajar desde Argentina, por la ruta 9.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Puerto Natales, Chile, 14 de junio de 2017 (D58).-<\/strong> Las Torres del Paine son m\u00e1s que una regi\u00f3n en el fin del mundo. Sobre el estrecho de Magallanes, donde los \u00faltimos picos de la cordillera de los Andes se forman y los vientos de la Tierra del Fuego se sienten con mayor fuerza, se alzan los tres picos, formaciones rocosas que dan nombre al m\u00e1s austral parque nacional chileno, considerado en 1994 Patrimonio de la Humanidad por la Unesco.<\/p>\n<p>El primer encuentro con la reserva es Puerto Natales, una peque\u00f1a poblaci\u00f3n al sur de Chile, con cerca de 18 mil habitantes, que a diferencia del resto de provincias que componen al pa\u00eds, se encuentra al oriente de la cordillera de los Andes, y no al occidente, por lo que se entremezcla con la Patagonia, donde se establecen los l\u00edmites con Argentina.<\/p>\n<p>Puerto Natales fue inicialmente el territorio de ind\u00edgenas selknams u onas que llegaron de la isla de Tierra del Fuego y se fueron estableciendo sobre el estrecho de Magallanes, hasta que el pueblo n\u00f3mada se concentr\u00f3 sobre el fiordo Eberhard (una depresi\u00f3n invadida por el mar, compuesta por agua dulce y salada), a donde posteriormente llegaron europeos, provenientes de la Patagonia argentina, que sobreviv\u00edan de la pesca y de animales silvestres como el guanaco, una especie de la misma familia de las llamas.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-66043\" src=\"http:\/\/digital58.com.ve\/site\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/06\/Cuernos_del_Paine_Parque_Nacional_Torres_del_Paine_Chile1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1500\" height=\"1000\" srcset=\"https:\/\/digital58.com.ve\/site\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/06\/Cuernos_del_Paine_Parque_Nacional_Torres_del_Paine_Chile1.jpg 800w, https:\/\/digital58.com.ve\/site\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/06\/Cuernos_del_Paine_Parque_Nacional_Torres_del_Paine_Chile1-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/digital58.com.ve\/site\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/06\/Cuernos_del_Paine_Parque_Nacional_Torres_del_Paine_Chile1-768x512.jpg 768w, https:\/\/digital58.com.ve\/site\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/06\/Cuernos_del_Paine_Parque_Nacional_Torres_del_Paine_Chile1-1500x1000.jpg 1500w, https:\/\/digital58.com.ve\/site\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/06\/Cuernos_del_Paine_Parque_Nacional_Torres_del_Paine_Chile1-720x480.jpg 720w, https:\/\/digital58.com.ve\/site\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/06\/Cuernos_del_Paine_Parque_Nacional_Torres_del_Paine_Chile1-480x320.jpg 480w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1500px) 100vw, 1500px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Durante la colonizaci\u00f3n a la regi\u00f3n austral no llegaron espa\u00f1oles, sino conquistadores provenientes del imperio Astroh\u00fangaro y de Alemania, quienes fundaron los puertos Consuelo, C\u00f3ndor y Bories sobre el fiordo, por lo que r\u00e1pidamente en este lugar fue creciendo la ganader\u00eda y pronto se estableci\u00f3 el Frigor\u00edfico de Puerto Bories, que atrajo a trabajadores y familias completas a la regi\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>La zona comenz\u00f3 a ser considerada tur\u00edstica, desde que fueron descubiertos vestigios casi intactos de un milod\u00f3n, una gigantesca especie prehist\u00f3rica, descendiente del oso, que atrajo la atenci\u00f3n de visitantes, que convirtieron a las Torres del Paine en un deleite.<\/p>\n<p>El acceso a la zona no es f\u00e1cil. Si se viaja por tierra desde Chile es necesario cruzar la cordillera de los Andes y viajar desde Argentina, por la ruta 9 (este viaje puede tardar d\u00edas).<\/p>\n<p>En cambio s\u00ed es por el mar, se debe tomar un ferry en Puerto Montt (el recorrido dura 11 horas), mientras que si se hace por aire, Latam ofrece un vuelo que va desde Santiago hasta Punta Arenas (cuatro horas), desde donde se
